I photographed a wedding here last summer and WOW it just blew me away 😍. The venue itself is absolutely stunning. The room where the bride got dressed was massive and the four poster bed was perfect for hanging the dress 👗. There's even a separate room to get ready in where your makeup artist and hair stylist can set up all their stuff. The grand staircase makes a perfect shot as you walk down, and the ceremony room overlooking the sea can't be compared to anything else. Every corner I turned in this venue I saw more and more - the bar adjacent from the ceremony/reception room is gorgeous too. Only a few minutes drive from the beach means you can get some great shots there, and even if you don't have the time you can just take a stroll around the expansive gardens. Couldn't recommend more, I absolutely loved shooting here and would love to again!

The venue was cold all day and they were still putting the wedding decorations up when guests had arrived. There wasn't enough seats in the bar area. The staff were pushing trolleys through guests to set up the wedding breakfast, The food was like warm. We stayed overnight and the bedroom was really cold with only a small radiator which you had no control over. The breakfast next morning was really good. Overall I'd give this place a 3. Probably much nicer in the summer

We attended our niece's wedding here on 3rd October and it was fabulous. The setting like a fairytale castle, is beautiful just perfect for a wedding. The staff where great, friendly and efficient. The food yummy. The whole day was very laid back and relaxed, at least for the guests! If you're planning a wedding it's worth a visit.

I attended a wedding here a little while ago - it's a lovely venue on a nice estate where you can walk around and go peacock spotting. The staff were friendly and helpful, the whole place is designed well and had a great experience here. The rooms are nice but a bit dated. I was quite cold in my room and there wasn't any heating available. The shower was either leaking or falling apart, but otherwise the stay was fine.

My husband and I got married here on 9th September 2023. To say it was one of the best days of my life would be an understatement. Let me start by saying when I saw this place for the first time I felt like it had been pulled from the pages of a Disney movie (Beauty and the Beast came to mind). Inside the dark wood, Tiffany lamps and beautiful ballroom just blew me away. The quirky statues in the grounds and the peacocks, all added to its charm. On the day the team were amazing. We didn’t have one hitch, or certainly nothing we knew about. Katy, our wedding coordinator was so amazing! We had some issues with water the following morning but the team were quick to resolve. If you’re considering having your wedding here. My advice is, do it!! Thank you again team.
